400 horsepower, can TPI make it?
Hey guys. Just wondering out loud. I was thinking of building up a ZZ4 bottom end, mixed with afr 190's and the stock tpi.
Ported plenum, new manifold, tb, and runners of course. (All aftermarket goodies, accell, tpis, etc) With a good cam, would this combonation be able to make 400 horses?
Im looking to run high 12's, and i think 400hp would do it, and wouldn't be asking for too much.... but maybe im wrong?
Thanks for any info!

400 hp at the flywheel, sure.
High 12's? Well, with proper torque converter, gears, suspension mods, perhaps.

I certainly think that 400 HP is doable with a TPI setup. I havn't dynoed mine yet, but based on my ETs and mph, I'm sure it's in the 400s (see my sig). 12s can be had if you get the right combination of parts (everything has to work well together). It looks like you're on your way to putting together a good combination. Good luck, and ask lots of questions as you go.
