TBI to TPI swap
TBI to TPI swap
If I buy a 92 Z28 ecu and wiring harness, will it work with a 86 TPI 350. Reason being is becouse I have a 92 RS and am getting ready to do a swap. I figured I could do this and every thing would just change right over. Any tips would be appriciated!

86 350 TPI, huh? Same thing I'm doing. If you're converting to the '86 engine to speed density here is a list of stuff, some stuff you will defintely need, some are advised:
Dual Fan Set Up (advised imho)
Speed Density ECM #730 (necessary)
Mounting plate for Charcoal Cannister and Air Filter Cannister
Z28 Air Cleaner Boxes and ducting
Speed Density wiring harness (necessary)
TPI fuel pump
IAC Valve, part # 17112193.
Speed Density Knock Sensor, part # 10456549.
TPI throttle cable, part # 10163822.
Purchase (1) Coolant Sensor/MAT Sensor, part # 12146312 (formerly part # 25036979).
Purchase (1) Coolant Sensor/MAT Sensor, part # 12146312 (formerly part # 25036979).
SD MEMCAL, part # 16151348.
I think that's about it. Maybe more than you needed. Also, there are other people on here who may say you don't need some of this stuff. I decided to do it anyway.
Good Luck, I think it's gonna be worth it.
