Caprice 350 in 86 Trans Am?

Caprice 350 in 86 Trans Am?
I currently have a 305 TPI and I want to put in a 350, I've been looking at the 92-93 Caprice 350 that GM is selling for like 1500. The website says it is commonly used in 87-92 camaros and firebirds. Does this mean I can't use it in my 86? Is it more difficult? I like this engine because I can put in my TPI setup. HELP!
