Swap in 91
ok, i am going to swap a V8 in my 6 and i have a question, does anyone know wher ei can find out about emmissions in Pa because i want to know if there is soem way that i can avoide them, like i have heard soem talk about a hot rod law that makes u not have to take the test but i cant take it, i want to put a 454 engine in m car and it wont pass emmissions. thanks
PA emissions are a pain (as I would know). There is a state law, that if you spend I believe 150$ or more to pass emissions, you are exempt. Just collect some receipts from buddies (such as plugs, plug wires, distrib cap, MAS, exhaust, etc. etc.) and when you fail emissions the first time, go back with all these receipts. They will make you exempt due to spending X amount of dollars on the emissions.
Pottstown? I didnt know they had emissions, i know Pittsburgh and I believe Philly or Harrisburg does.. hmm strange.

WOW, thats great, do i need any paperwork or something so that when i bring the receipts in they will let me go? THat is really great, but will i have to do that each year when emissions comes around? i really could care less if i have to spend that each year because than my car will really kick a**.
Also, about emissions, they really suck, if i lived 1 mile down the road, i wouldnt have to take them because in berks county, there is no, but in monto, there is, just comes to show u that PA emissions suck
