stall/ cam combo

what type of stall would you guys recommend for a 234 in. @50 244 ex.@50 with 3.73 rear end with 700r-4.. maybe something to the liking of a b&m 2400 holeshot??? or something a little more beefier

that cams seemms pretty big, even for a 350. its not very streetable, id say go with a 2000stall and a comp cams x/e 268.

Daily driver? You wont like a ton of stall. 224/234 @ .050 to a 350 is very mild, almost not noticable. unless its like a 108 LCA.
Around there is fine for like 2500 Stall. Go over 2800 Stall and you will be sorry on the street. car would idle smoothly @ 650 RPMS in gear with a 224/234 @ .050 -LCA @ 114
or

224/234 @ .050 -LCA @ 110 = Car will idle pretty smooth @ 800 RPMS in gear.

This is my experience with blazer cams and a mild 355.
234/244 @ .050 (Performer RPM Camshaft)LCA @ 110 Is pretty rough/cool/big/revving car idles around 1000 RPMS / 950 In gear. Nice cam for the street if you dont have emmisions, but pretty big/needs 2800 RPM + Stall.

i would stick with a lower stall for the street, 2800-3000 For the track, if track only.

Your supposed to match the cams powerband with the convertor, i.e. when the cam comes on. I'm using a 3500 stall, and it's fine for the street.

Is it a lockup converter? lockup makes it OK for the street since when you want to you can remove the stall. if the application is for a NON-lockup converter, it will be a sorry gas mileage deal when it comes to the street. this from personal experience however... what was your gas mileage affect when you installed the converter?
