motor swap
motor swap
I am thinking of ditchin the weezy 305 in my 91 because for one they are so heavy and too mine might be missing the carburador so I was thinking of heavily modding out the V-6 because it would be lighter and rev higher because isn't redline the key too drag racing? anyways there isn't really any performance parts for a V-8 chevy, so what do you think is it a good swap, me and my friend both agreed it was a good idea but then again we are both in special ed!

I had to read that whole "there isn't any preformance parts for a V8 chevy" about 13 times before I finally came to the conclusion that what I was reading was actually typed. I thought maybe I had one too many beers at first.
You gotta be kidding right?

like I said in my other post I have a learning disability and all but its cool, so are you saying there isn't any parts for a small block chevy?? or are there a few where can I get them they appear too be rare???????:lala: :lala: :lala: :lala:
Okay, on the performance parts vor the V8 chevy thing..Your 305 is a small block chevy, which is one of the most common/popular performance motors. Modding the 305 would be MUCH cheaper than dropping in a modified V6, and you can find performance parts for your 305 just about anywhere. Try going to www.summitracing.com or give them a call and ask them what you can do with your motor, or search the boards, etc.. Also, because of the small block's popularity, parts for them are cheaper than just about any other engine.
