Well, Jed, all the town-folk say:
4.490" bore Merlin II block, Eagle forged 4.25" stroke crank & rods, 13:1 pistons, professionally prepped Merlin heads, big nasty solid roller cam with gear drive, rest of valve train to handle the revs, Victor intake. By the time you get the pieces to put it all together and pay the piper to make sure it holds together, you'll have that 10g that's burning a hole in you pocket pretty well spent.
Then you can get the nitrous stuff...

What kind of power adder?
Are you looking for nitrous?
turbos?
blower?
personally I would not go for the nitro, it costs more in the long run, with bottle refills.
=)
I am really insteresting in seeing what the engine will be.
