TBI to TPI swap

My car is is storage @ my grandparents house (far away) and I need to know where the VSS is located. The car is a 1990 TBI Camaro with a 700R4. Also what are your opinions on wiring harness? Painless or get it converted by the Chevy Thunder guy?
