switched to carb got hei dist.. do i need new plug wires?? from standard??

i am getting ready to finish the 406 project up.. as most have read i took my tpi motor out and swapped in the 406 will the wires from my tpi motor work on the new distributor?? i have accel 8.8 race wires and paid a pretty penny for them and dont really wana waste them please let me know asap thanks

I switched from TPI to carb also, and reused the stock replacement wire set. Seemed to work out just fine for me, i just re-routed them a little so they wouldn't rest on the manifolds anywhere...
