Ok I have a 85 Vette TPI, this will fit all of the old cast iron Chevy heads. Right? A machine shop tried to to me I need special Fuel Injected heads to run a TPI. I think I might end up buying a new GM crate motor ment for a carb set up. Will this be okay?

 

Yea, the 85 setup will bolt up to any heads that have the typical 'early' bolt pattern, which is 86 and older heads.

The shop told you that you need special fuel injected heads? LOL, I'd suggest finding a new shop if you can.
