Hey guys, that is the cam that I am running in my current setup. I just got it back on the road wednesday. I had no miles on the engine and passed emissions with flying colors. The cam has a very distinct rumble to it, but not too bad. I am coming from a race cam so it doesn't seem bad to me at least. My car has 3.73s out back and it seems to be right in the sweet spot for this cam. Its been raining here for the past few days, and just giving it to much throttle in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will spin the tires, even when the car is in motion. Any specific questions you have about the cam just ask. I'll post my emission numbers...

HC - 54/162
CO - 0.31/1.04
NO - 228/1163
CO+CO2 - 15.8/6.0 minimum

the first numbers are my reading and the second is what is allowable.

hey midnite can u tell that cam is there? does it have a nice lopey idle or is it just barely noticeable? also u seem to know your **** so i will ask u this. a guy at a local speed shop told me to run a cam with over 500 lift i need to get special valve stem seals ant have my guides machined or the top of the sping would come down and split my seal. i have worlds 1.94 heads with crane cams umbrella seals. now is this true or is this guy a jackass? thanks

You can definitely tell the cam is there. It indeed has a nice lope to it. About the valve seals, the only way to tell whether you will have clearence problems is to measure it yourself. Every application will be slightly different. Take out your valve spring, but put your valve locks on and hold your retainer up. Then measure the distance between the bottom of the retainer and the valve seal. Compare this with the cam lift and if your cam lift is indeed higher you will need to machine your guides down.
