Need a Classic American issue number for back ordering!

I'm wanting to place a back order for a particular issue of Classic American, problem is I don't know the issue number/date.

The issue I'm after is the one that had the article about the 1987 20th Anniversary Commemorative Edition Z28 Convertible. The car in the article was a dark red in color.

Thank you

Robert

Actually, so do I. I have the one you're talking about, RMK. I shall try and find it when I've finished this post.

In the meantime, does anyone have the issue number for the mag from October 1999 (could be 2000, but definitely October). It had "Brutus Gold, Love Train" on the cover, with a red Charger and a guy with big hair driving.

Before anyone complains that this is non-thirdgen, if you have this magazine check the reader's rides section. You'll find my car there!

Si

I haven't seen that one. The one I have is #103 November 1999, which has 4 pages on a dark red IROC-Z.

I'm at work just now, so I can't get you the number. Pop in tonight of you like - I have that issue you are talking about. www.thirdgen.org gets a mention in the article as I believe Willie helped the guy out a lot with things. We can look it out for you.

As discussed:- Issue 134.

Published June 2002.

Just in case anyone else wished to know!

Felix:- If you find that issue can you post the issue number possibly?

Well I went round to Gordons last night, searched the mags that we could find and found nothing. I did however make a guess that it was issue 134 as 132, 133 & 134 were not around.

Got a call tonight from him to tell me that he had a quick hunt and found the issue. It is issue 134 (damn, I'm good!) June 2002. BIG thanks to Gordon and the others that looked for me!

Also, Felix, what issue number and month/year is the one with the black IROC on the cover and what is the article inside like?

Thanks

Rob

You beat me too it!

Also, does anyone know the issue number/month/year for the one with the 750bhp Lingenfelter Corvette on the cover?

Thank you.

Rob,

It is issue 56, Dec 1995 which has the article on the black IROC. As far as CA articles go it is very good with 3 pages or so and the inside cover has a profile shot. I was wrong though it isn't on the outside cover.

Worth getting despite the car in question being black

Thanks Felix,

I ordered my back issue of 134 just moments ago. However, issue 56 was sold out. Not surprising really, the black ones don't hang about
