Look What I Got Today!!!!!!!!!

Well........

As some of you will know, i've been looking for aset of 16" iroc wheels for my car......anyway haven't got a set of those but i did pick up this lovely set of 25th Anniversary 16" rims with tyres and centercaps today!!!

What do you think?

(Please note lovely british weather and not a garden centre in sight!!!!)

Now the bit that'll really get ya!! How much do you think for a set of these lovely wheels??

Remember this is with the elusive centre caps and the tyres........

How does £200 sound?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways the guy emailed me back and said he didn't have them any more but his friend had bought them to put on his Grand National but hadn't put 'em on....and he might want to sell em............which he did so i drove down to birmingham today to pick em up!!!!!!!!!!!!

English,

Good deal on those wheels. What engine have you got in your car and what year is it?

I got my 16" IROC wheels by chance also!
I was at Oldcott Motors and I asked Steve Walker if he had any. He said he hadn't, but he thought he knew of someone in Central London who wanted to sell his set (that were on his Pick up truck). I phoned him and he wanted £400-no offers-3 good tyres, one bald. So, I drove from J29 of the M1 all the way to London to get them! Then spent days restoring them! Look good though!
I am seriously considering getting some 18" chrome ones from the States for our show Camaro (when bank account allows).

Andy.

IROCFAN

Youve had your allotted share of luck "Stealing" that 383 for the price you did

Andy,

You see me right? I am a jammy git LOL

On the the subject of being jammy a friend of mine made me up an exhaust cut-out as well out of stainless steel!! I'm putting my new y-pipe and cat-delete pipe on next tuesday so will fit this at the same time!! The cost - a horrendously overpriced £0!!!!!!!

Its not what you know but who you know

I can't wait to get this fitted as when i was having the SFC's fitted i took a jaunt out in the car with open headers!!!!!! Holy S**t!!!!!!!!! What a noise!!!!!! You've got to run open headers at least once - just for the dissaproving looks from old people!!!!

When i went to pick the wheels up, i already knew the guy had a Buick GN.....when he opened up his garage though he also had a 1971 Buick GS 445!!!!!!!! Talk about awesome!!!!! He started it up and the bugger had straight through pipes on!!!!!!!!! Turned my spine to jelly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you guys soon ( When is Billing - next week isn't it?? )

I see you have your old wheels for sale on E-Bay. they don't look too bad you may even get the money back on what you paid for the new set.
