Adaptor/mounting plate for a single DIN/aftermarket head unit.
Anyone know where in the UK I can get a fascia adaptor/mounting plate for a new single DIN head unit? The car is an 1989 Trans-Am GTA.
Or if not, then any internet sites in the States for such a product?
Many thanks!

at last... something I can answer!!!
you have two choices
1st go to your local ICE specialist and they should be able to sell you an adaptor kit (or fit it as well if needed) cost not sure but cheap
2nd go to your local ICE specialist (for the adaptor kit) and then a model shop and you can buy a small sheet of plastic with a similar grain to the camaro dashand simply cut to fit - it should look like a factory option
total cost should be minimal

I used the GM-K454 install kit from AI (American International). Got it from www.chromwerk.at and if I can get it in Austria I think you should find it in England.

Car: 2009 Volvo V50 R Design
Engine: 2.0 turbo diesel
Transmission: 6 speed auto
Axle/Gears: yes, both
I got mine from USAutomotive www.usauto.co.uk and it was somewhere around 20 quid. this included wiring harness so you don't have to cut the factory wiring.
you can just see it in this pic.
