Import / export

Ok, here's the score......

I'm in the US untill wednesday, if anyone has anything they need (forget things like air filters or bulbs, they aren't any cheaper)
say under $50 i'll try to bring it back (depending on how much i spend)

Hand luggage size only please folks, no big blocks!!!

can't garantee anything (all depending on what i spend before then) but i'll try.

Daddy's bug deflector has already been posted back home, that thing was in a box about 7 feet long.....

Thanks Phil, a truly noble gesture old boy. Just some hood shocks or tail lift shocks. Thanks mate.

I'd be interested in a pair of hatch struts for my '92 Firebird. Could you get me a price quote?

I'll go for the hood and trunk struts too, if I'm not too late!

Many thanks

$25 a piece sounds great. They're $90 a piece here and that's insane imo. Since we're both in the EU shipping shouldn't be a problem.

Just got back from pep boys, it breaks down like this......

boot struts - $39.95 each, but there are problems bringing them back

bonnet struts - $19.95 each, fit in hand luggage but pep boys only have 2 in stock. (had, they are sitting next to me...)

Because they are pressurised gas, you cannot put them in cago hold luggage (they may burst) so have to go in hand luggage.

Unfortunately, they are waaaay too long for my hand luggage, so it looks like one pair of hood struts only, unless i can lay my hands on another pair at some point today.

so $40, lets say 30 pounds for the pair.

Felix, since i was going to bring you back some last time, you want em?

Everyone else, i'm gonna try and track down another set if i can today..............

Phil,

Don't stress too much about them, enjoy the time you have left over there. There are enough things to be done to my car, the struts can wait a little longer.

Thanks Phil, yeah don't worry mate- always another time. I wouldn't mind them but if someone else is desperate then let them go for it. I'll speak to you about it on your return. We should hook up for a beer soon anyway. You're not coming back on Concord are you

Regards,
Felix

I'm currently at Copenhagen airport (don't ask why, but it works out cheaper to fly to copenhagen, and get the flight to New York from there) i'll be home today, so PM me, and we'll arange something if you want them (there's no rush)...

p.s. i have just paid £5 for a beer, and am about to pay $4 for a coffee...... this place is crazy, cool, but crazy.
