Any plans for the year ahead?

Just wondering what folks plans are for the year ahead?

For me I'm certainly not doing anything as mad as last year, with a new exhaust being the only big item. Thinking of getting a full SLP system 1.75" headers, 3" catback. Ceramic coated and stainless steel might last a couple of years in this salt infested country. Other little bits and pieces should keep me busy too, as the shopping list is long......

But what I do plan to do is get it out at knockhill for a track-day school. My bro had his ultima out for one of these days last year, and then a track day with the Scooby drivers club. I don't think I'll be out on the 12th but maybe later on in the year when the weather's a bit more likely to be dry.

Other than that, you'll find me at Knockhill for all car race meetings, though not always in the iroc.

I plan on one day bringing my car over there for a little fun. I would love to take it out on some of the windy roads thru France and Germany after the LS1 in transplanted in.

Well my car is currently getting it's respray after someone drove into me. I'm getting the full lot done, and it should look excellent when it's finished in a few weeks time.

I'm half way through my 13" 4 piston brakes for the front, just the time and a few more parts to get.

Appart from that, the only other thing I might get involved in is getting a working POSI on the car.

Same as yours, only I'm putting it together myself. I've been working on it before Spohn started marketing and selling them, but it has been put on the back burner while I got a new trans and sorted out a few other bits and bobs.

Cool. You'll certainly appreciate them them their done. Only thing you'll need to do is make sure that there's nothing loose on the back-seat/boot. I had a pair of sunglasses sitting on the rear seat that flew forward and hit the dash pretty hard, when I was testing the new brakes..... and I've still not got the bias optimised yet.

iroc-si, do you know about the monthly cruises that were held at Kirkcaldy KFC from April-October of every year? They've now been moved to Dunfermline.

Nope, didn't know about them. Not into the cruising scene. In fact if its anything like the bunch of schemies that you see in Edinburgh, I'm not interested.

You're more likely to find me at or on a racing circuit, or putting the car through its paces on the twistiest of roads.

Appologies, Schemies is the local-ish term for neds. (non educated delinquents) usually to be found wearing baseball caps, tracksuits and driving ponced up puntos, corsas, etc.

Right, got you iroc-si! No, it's just a get together for American vehicle enthusiasts only. NO HOT HATCHES. We just meet up, have a blether about the cars, parts, whatever. Totally informal.
