spark plugs fitting with headers?

what headers out on the market are spark plug friendly? i dont want to put headers on if i have to take them off to change the spark plugs..

so my question is which company makes headers that are easy to access the spark plugs? my engine is a 305 with a 600cfm holley carb, edelbrock performer intake, no A.I.R. single cat.

Most headers will make the plugs hard to get to. The Edelbrock's aren't too bad, I have to get under the car for only the #8 plug.

The only plugs I have problems with on the SLP 1-3/4" headers are #3 and #5. I can't get a full sized spark plug socket in there, but you could probably get to it with a cut socket. The rest of the plugs are a breeze, I do them all from the top.

Synapsis helP!!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!

I was not able to get AC plugs #3, #5 and #6. I can't even get a socket or wrench in there (Cast iron heads, headers are 1 3/4 SLP 350CID). I also broke #8 off but was able to get it out and get the new one in. How do you take yours out. Or do I need to get shorter plugs. If so, which kind are the best.

Thanks.
Oscar.

I just went and bought some Accel header plugs for my new SLP 1 5/8" headers and I could get a spark plug socket in there to tighten them. Fits!

Oscar, try to grip the bottom of the plugs with an open end wrench, that's how I get a lot of them out when a socket won't fit.
