Hate to bring this thread to the top again, but I got the muffler and big tips on... I was disapointed with the sound but I definitely noticed the performance increase. I got the z35 model, the one that is designed specifically for out cars.

What I did to help with the sound.. I gutted the cat, but only noticed a little bit of sound increase but now it smokes occasionally and the exhaust smell is terrible so I ordered a Dynomax high flow cat to put on there.

It does sound good when you're right behind it and it drives away/by but it just isn't as loud as a flowmaster... I'm sure the stock cat muffles the sound a lot. The car sounds like an old muscle car when the exhuast pipe going to the muffler isn't on.. Rumbles the damn floorboard. But just too loud.

Ravin sound better with headers. I have the stock replacement. 2 1/4" I think it is. I am looking for a 3" muffler for it. By the way there are three different levels for the muffler. THe z35 is nice but I think there is a Z33 that is louder. And yes he is right about the sound, it isn't as loud as a flow, but it still sounds great. I will never go back to a flow after that muffler, but that is just me .05. Let us know if you find a 3" cat back. Midas sells the muffler, does anybody else??

I do like the exterior sound.. It isn't that loud, but there is no interior resonance like you would get with a flowmaster... Midas I believe owns Ravin and therefore is the only company that sells them. Thats what the guy who sold it to me said, get headers and it will be louder. Since I was disapointed with the sound and so was he, they looked for a Z33 for our cars but none fit it so they didn't do it.. He only charged me for parts because I was disapointed with sound.

109 for muffler
71.00 a tip (fat daddy ones).
