Header and Exhaust kit Package

Hey,

I was talking to Ryan (sorry don't know username) and we were cut off. I want to know if I order these headers: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=7269',650,505,'HOK2460
Will it come with a "Y" pipe, or will I have to buy that seperate.

Also I am thinking about getting this: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=4859',650,505,'FLO17150
Does this kit come with tips?

Also, do you reccomend getting a catalytic converter? Will it quiet my exhaust any?

Thanks for your help!

Bret

The headers do not come with a y-pipe, and there is none available. If you go with those, figure on a couple hundred to get a y-pipe fabricated (unless you know someone who will do a good job for less). The Hooker headers that do come with the y-pipe are HOK-2055.

I don't know anything directly about the cat-back, but they typically don't have tips.

A cat will make it a little quieter.

So does that catback actually run back as duals or is that picture totaly off? It says that the picture may vary from actual kit.

no its a single in, single out on the driverside, read the discription again. and its a force II so its quiter then the american thunder catback if you have a cat it will be slightly louder then stock. FLO-17233 is for a american thunder system with dual exhaust if that is what you are looking for.

Which kit would sound better. The Flowmaster you showed me or this?

I will not be using any cats.

I have the Flowmaster 17233 kit, check the sig for a sound file if you want to hear it. On another thread around here somewhere I posted pictures of the tailpipes.
