Shorty headers?
Shorty headers?
A local speed shop has a set of headers in good condition w/ the 02 bung at the collector and they are supposedly for the third gens but the collector seems to end straigh down between the two middle cylinders instead of like most shorty's which seem to end near wher the stock exh. manifold ends. Is there enough space on a 85 z28 to attach a y-pipe and have it flow back. It just looks like it would cause problems. Anyone have this style and did they fit?

They sounds like block huggers. For a Y pipe to be made ti would very hard I would think. It would have to go to 2 90* turns before it went below the block. Just a thought. But no, not sure on the fit.
