Checking before I make a purchase...

I have a 1989 IROC-Z with the 305tbi engine in it, and I need to get a new cat. Am I correct in assuming, with the stock exhaust manifold, that I need to get a cat with 2.25" bolt-on inlet? (I know I need one with the air tube.)

bolt on inlet doesn't sound right, the inlet is a slip fit and the outlet should be a bolt on

your's didn't sound right.....then again I cut my cat off
