ok I have slp 1 3/4 headers and i want to get AFR 190cc cylinder heads, which plug style would i be able to get at the spark plugs best the l98 style angled or straight ??? on my stock heads it took like 2 hours to change the spark plugs

 

I just went through this, Its a long story though. I got the L98 style after getting strait plug heads that were defective. Yes i said defective. It took over a month of tech calls and shipping parts around to get a new set. I had a scumbag lying ***** of a rep at AFR, his name was Tony ( mamo i think). They tried to tell me my edelbrock performer was defective because it didn't fit. Well it fit the 305 that came out just fine, also the rocker arms didn't line up right and after getting the new 190's i realized that the ports were completely different! i am so glad i didn't try to FIX the bad heads as AFR wanted me to. The heads seem to work well, and ultimately AFR replaced them but it took too much agrevation, i don't like being yelled at by "Customer Service" and i don't like being called a Liar. I'll give you this advice, if you order the heads, do so directly from afr, not a reseller. That was the first hurdle with my problem. They wanted me to sent them back through the person i bought them from. Second if you have any problems that The sales idiots cant solve, Just calll up and ask for Rick Spearling, he is the owner of AFR and ultimately he seems to are about his reputation, although they never reimbursed me for shipping or even sent new head gaskets ( 200 bucks over the 1500 i spent on my 190's).

I use the L98 64cc heads with slp 1 3/4 headers and Accell 9000 spark plug wires. They are stilla bitch to remove but it works well.
