My brother just got his Hooker Cat-back and Flowtech coated headers, so I figured I'd take a couple pics. He's givin me the tips, he wants angled cut ones.

Yep, mine is black.

 

all hooker aerochamber mufflers, regarless of whether or not they are single in/out or single in/dual out, are painted flat black. the ones i have are flat black and any i have ever seen where black. all the pics on hookers website so them as flat black as well. i myself like the flat black look...its something different i guess

 

hey mark when u goin to help him put that stuff on. did u fit everything together already to see if it would fit fine?

 

If you look at the pic on Jegs, it's plain metal colored.

 

also mark what did u do, did u do the 1-3 step cleaning on that muffler? mine never came out of the box that shiny.

 

mark does that exhaust have a cat converter on it.

 

Nope, the muffler came straight out the box to the ground.


No, it doesn't come with a cat.

 

Hey, does that system mount up just like stock? Or is there a little modification needed? Thanks, Matt S.

 

You will need a passenger side hanger for the tail pipe. Other than that direct bolt in, unless you get the $200 one like mine, which had a different fitting for the cat, so it needed minor fab work.
