Should i bother to change this exhaust?

The guy that had the car before me had a Flowmaster muffler put on, and a custom bent 2.5 inch exhaust..i plan to put a high flow cat on...is it really worth spending all the money to have 3 inch put on?

if you got the 80 series, the inlet necks up to 3", you can cut off the 2.5" part and put a 3" pipe from the cat to the muffler. I did. Measure your muffler to make sure it necks up to 3" before you start cutting.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste money on a cat-back since you already have a muffler, IF it has the 3".

On my car I picked up 2mph in the 1/4 switching out stock I-Pipe and a flowmaster to the Hooker cat-back.
