What the hell.....

What the hell is a quad exhaust? I was looking through the classifieds and is saw this

"CHEVY 1984 Camaro Z28; New quad exhaust, muffler, plugs & wires, catalytic conv, runs good. $1200 OBO. 555-3825."

Any help?

probably means it's got the dual tips on each of the 2 pipes coming off the muffler. would look something like this from behind i guess OO OO

Some of those Z's had a somewhat dual exhaust setup. Maybe he's referring to that.
