Am I wrong

or is SLP the only company making a headers and y-pipe kit that consists of headers with o2, without AIR and a y-pipe with a 3 inch exit? I've got all the AC, AIR and blower box out of my car (along with all the exhaust, manifolds and all)and need to order parts. Any other kits out there like the above mentioned?

Did you try looking at Hooker Super Comp long tubes? I think they make non-smog legal headers. Man you are lucky to have no smog for the car I have to convert my non-smog legal long tubes that are in the garage

They might be the only ones with the O2 bung and no somg stuff but you could buy Flowtech, Heddman, or the Hooker kit that bolts into the stock places and have a welding/muff shop to cut and weld in a bung for it. Thats what I did and it was cheaper, alot cheaper plus are you sure that the headers don't have AIR tubes because you know that SLP stands for Street Legal Performance right?

Yea, the 30005's are available without A.I.R. with 1 3/4 primarys and come with a 3 inch outlet on the y-pipe. Call me crazy but I'm just not comfortable letting some jack *** cut up a new y-pipe or try to make one for the car. I've seen some real hack jobs that people have paid to much for around here.

I just got the flowtech kit because I wanted the same exact thing you are asking. The flowtechs have smaller primaries but have O2 hookup, no AIR, and 3" collector at the y-pipe. Coated from www.yearone.com was only $369. Not bad for a puny 305 that won't make enough power to benifit from the best headers money can buy.

Well this is just a puny stock long block L98 and I had considered the flowtechs but I was told the y-pipe had a 2.5 inch outlet

gmgod,

I thought it had a 2.5" outlet and so I called around and looked at numerous pics and I am pretty sure it has a 3". There was a post not to long ago that had a l98 with these headers and the motor was on a stand and it deffinatly looked 3" to me.
