Mac Header Questions
OK, guys- help me out if you can. I'm wondering if someone can give me some opinions on Mac headers. Tell me about price vs. quality, any problems, and where to find them. Thanks.

I asked this same question last month and had no success. I bet if you were asking what sounded the best you'd get about 30 replies.
Anyways, I ordered them about three weeks ago and come to find out their backordered a month. I'm not sure how hard they are to mount up or how they perform, but I like the way the AIR tubes are mounted on them. I think they look better than other smog legal headers.(at least I think their smog legal) The way I see it anything will be better than stock manifolds.
They are a little bit more than headman and edlebrock at $424 shipped. I found them for this price at http://www.ftforce.com/
which was around $80 cheaper than directly from MAC.
Unfortunately its going to be a while before I can try them out. Uncle Sam has me moving to TX in Sept. so there are a bunch of projects that need done from now till then....unfortunatly the car is at the bottom of the list.

Hey, thanks for the info...I see what you mean about the AIR connections. Looks a lot cleaner, doesn't it? I guess I have more to consider now before I spend the cash.
