yeah i guess multicolor valve covers are cool...

the coating from jethot will cost you 180 for the shorty headers and 12 a foot for the ypipe.

the multi colored thing was just to see the finish.
My car will be unghettofied and nice when I'm done.
I really wanna get those ***** powder coated.
I really like my headers I just can't wait to hear my car when it's finished and ready to run.
Can't wait for the paint job either.

Trust me I already thought of that a thousand times over.
The truth is I really don't feel like putting in the time to do a 350 swap but a 327 and a t-5 really gets my blood pumpin. maybe when the 305 gets boring.
Money isn't a problem.

like I said I've pondered it and that's what I'm doing once the LG4 blow-up or goes out the door.
Dammn headers make brackets a real bitch but you gotta love my ghetto brackets!

Actually I'm all for an lg4 build up. Just being defensive to the other remark. By the way, what brand of headers are those, what size primaries and collectors, and do they come with a y-pipe?

Heddman headers part #68470.
They have 1-5/8 tubes and the collector is 3".
They only cost $100 and the Y-pipe for them is also from Heddman headers which will run you another $100.
I'd say they are a dammn good deal.
I like the SLP's but by the time these go out the door I'll have the money to buy SLP's.
I found out today that SLP is base in Toms River New Jersey which is cool cause I live in Jersey and I could go down there and visit the shop.

hey, i like what i see so far. there's nothing wrong with building an LG4.

don't worry about the "ghetto" brackets. if they work, good work on the home-engineering. it's all about creativity.

They don't have O2 sensor bung and I don't want one nor do I need one.
I'm going all mechanical and ditchin all the emmissions crap.
How did they sound on your car?
I'm gonna have a Hooker 3" cat-back and no cat, hope mine will sound good.

look at my sig, car sounds GREAT! only thing i was dissapointed about is that i cant hear the "lobe" of my cam. so i might get a differant cam...i love that "lobe lobe lobe lobe lobe lobe" sound at idle...but then again the hooker muffler isnt made to be loud at idle, so that might be why i cant hear it. but it deffintly sounds good all the time. its hard for me to say how loud it is cause its quite inside the car. all my friends and family siad it sounds very nice from the outside, so ill take there word for it!
