Full length headers???
I was wondering if anyone has full length headers then a short pipe perhaps about 2' long with some type of small muffler (perhaps a magnaflow race series) then have that bent and exiting right in front of the rear wheels! I would like to get some long tube headers but don't know where i would run the the rest of the exhuast! thanks

I have the Heddman long tubes with the exhaust routed just as you explained and it sucks-MINIMAL ground clearance. I got the thinnest race muffler body I could find (4") and with a full tank of gas and a passenger I scrape everything. This winter when I gut it, I'm going to either channel out the floor pan for the exhaust or get the shorty headders cause man this sucks.

i'm using that type routing with 40series flowmasters and down't have much problems scraping......film is being developed so i will be posting pics in a few days. look for a post by me titled something like "dual exhaust" or along those lines.
