Y pipe very close to oil pan should should I wrap it?

I just finshed up a header install (hedman's with y-pipe) The pipe is right up against the oil pan. I was thinking about wrapping it with some header wrap but then I read that header wrap can cause fires when it becomes soaked with various chemicals such as oil and being right next to the oil pan I figure there is a good chance of that. What should I do I wanted to wrap a section of the y - pipe about 18 inces long around the oil pan and below the starter. Is there anything you could suggest my headers are jet hot coated but the y - pipe is not just sparyed with high temp paint.

I have a 88 iroc with the stock Y-pipe and it sits right aginst the oil pan. I thought the same thing when I saw that(just bought the car). Wraping it might keep the oil temp. down a little, But then there's a chance it could catch fire if it gets soaked in oil or anything else.

If you're worried that the Y-Pipe will heat up your oil too much, just install an oil cooler and use Synthetic oil. I have an SLP Y-Pipe and it sits right in front of the oil pan but does not cause any problems.

The engines regular cooling system will only allow that oil to get so hot.....no worries there really
