Looking for input on mufflers

I've looked at the last few posts on the Flowmaster/Hooker muffler dilemma, and thought I'd beat it dead with another question.

I have an 88 Camaro with a 305 in it. Right now, it's pretty much bone-stock. Not for long, however. The first thing I want to do, is my exhaust. I listened to Mark's Hooker muffler system with his old mods, and it screamed when he hit it. What are the prices like for Hooker mufflers? Also, what type of Hooker muffler would I need? My car has a single inlet and duel outlet muffler.

Which would give me the best roar? When I'm cruising, I don't want my muffler to drive me insane. But when I hit it, I want to hear that V8 scream. Any replies are appreciated.

It would be best to get the cat-back. You can get the $200 one from summit but it will need a little fabrication, or you can get the $260 one that will bolt right up.

Yep, get the cat-back. It comes with the Aerochamber muffler.
