ok so last week i got the dynomax superturbo set installed
last night i started playing with the car a little when by the local stang hang out :lala: :lala: and just reveved the sucker up sounded great and i really got there attation especialy when there alarms all started going off
thats when i noticeed this strange almost like a hiss with a short pop sound from the left side it was really weird..........
it didn't sound like the tail pipe was hitting anything but there it was i checked it again a block or two away it was still there......

any idea's ????????

i'm going to play around with it tonight when i have someone else to step on the gas

 

Exhaust leak?

 

Does it only do it in neutral when you rev it up? Or does it do it under acceleration also?

I know mine burbles a little if I rev the **** out of it, then let off, when the RPMs start to fall it makes noises like I've never heard. But it's fine in gear.

Just check all your clearances around everything, and make sure you tightened those clamps down good. I know I've forgotten to do that sometimes 'cause I was so anxious to hear it and drive the car.

if neutral only:

its just the air making a funny noise, cause the car down revs so much quicker in neutral than under a load like drive, mine almost sounds like a glass pack when I free rev
