Does anyone have the Force II flowmaster catback?

I am redoing my exhaust again and I was looking into getting the flowmaster force II catback since hooker catbacks are rare all the sudden. Anyways does anyone have this system? It says it only has a single 3'' outlet which probably looks funny but if it makes more power than a crossflow thats fine with me. Plus its only $230 and 2 chamber so it should sound alot better than what i have.

I believe the Force II is a 3 chamber muffler setup.

Ok In summit under the ad it says "These cat-back systems feature 3'' mandrel-bent pipe and a special two chamber flowmaster muffler with a single 3'' drivers side outlet" there is the Force II listed under that heading and also American Thunder so the american thunder may be the 2 chambers im not sure i'll have to call and check. But it hookers catback is in im going with that.

I've got the force2 with slp headers and a 3 inch straight pipe for a cat. The system is pretty quiet at idle and light loads, but gets pretty loud at WOT. If your looking for loud look elsewhere, if your looking for more flow for a future build up get this or the hooker.

"These Force II exhaust systems have been designed with the latest exhaust technology available. Through this technology, you will experience improvements in acceleration, passing power, and fuel mileage. The key to these performance improvements is through the use of mandrel-bent tubing. The tubing allows for superior exhaust gas flow, while aluminized steel construction has been utilized for its corrosion-resistant qualities. They also feature a 3-chamber muffler(s) that’ll give you plenty of Flowmaster sound under hard acceleration, but low sound levels while cruising. Every kit comes complete with all necessary hangers, clamps, and mounting hardware for an easy installation."

I have this system and I like it. Personally, I think that exhaust tips coming out of the back of thirdgens looks stupid. The car was never designed for that. It was designed for turndowns. That is exactly what this system has. The 3" single outlet tucks nicely up into the backend and nobody can see your exhaust. It's a very nice stealthy setup. Nobody will know what you are running by the looks of your car ... lol ... but they WILL know from the sound. It's fairly quiet at idle but romping on it REALLY wakes this **** up.

Think its louder than a normal series 80 flowmaster? Also a GOOD 3'' exhaust setup is gonna be louder than my horrible 2 1/4''/2.5'' setup right? Mine is real loud past 3 grand but idle kinda sucks. Plus I'm really tired of the flowmaster sound...everyone has flows around here...having a hooker catback would make me unique.

The hookers are rare? I heard someone else say that, but then someone else said they just ordered one from Summit or something with no problem.

Flowmaster AM: Loud all the time, 2 chamber.
Flowmaster F2: Loud at WOT, 3 chamber.

Chrome tips on Third Gens looks great!! I also like the turndowns to though.

SLP 1.75" headers into 3" Force II exhaust with no cat.Nice rumble at idle and cruise..screams when you mash it.I also have a cut out for when I really wanna be a pain in the a** to my neighbors. For the price $228 it is a nice system that flows really well.

Looks like I may go the flowmaster route. Where could I find an american thunder 3rd gen catback? Id rather have the 2 chamber ones. Soon as I get the money for heads and the exhaust Im getting it. May also throw in a zz4 cam

i tried ordering my american thunder from summit, but they claimed it was on backorder for 3 months... I went to my local performance muffler shop (Mufflex in trenton nj) and they got me the american thunder catback + they installed for $340 total

TBI305Camaro...Yes it is a single outlet.I will post a pic of my car from the rear..but there is hardly a tailpipe to see.It is nicely concealed which helps to keep the boys in blue from bothering me as the car draws enough attention from the paint and lope of the cam.I need all the help I can get to keep from being harrassed(spelling?).

How much louder do you think the american thunder is over the force II? The force II is about 100$ cheaper. The american thunder is a 2 chamber so Im guessing there would be a performance and sound difference over the 3 chamber? Between the hooker catback, force II, and american thunder what would be the overall best choice for sound and performance?
