New headers, no cat

If I order a new set of hedders and I replaced the cat with 3" pipe, do I still need to purchase the y-pipe? If not, what's the best way to hook everything up?

Yes, you need a y-pipe, most headers come with one. Though be sure to get a 3" y pipe.

thanks for help

I am planning on buying Hedman Hedders and it is about $100 for the y-pipe. That's why I wanted to make sure that I will really need it. Do you know a good copper gasket that will fit the hedders I plan on buying to go on my 305 TBI? Is there anything else I will need to buy to complete the hedder install? Thanks
