hey fast3rdgen...how do you like your eagle stuff? I'm building up a 383 right now....and I was looking into the Eagle 4340 crank and ESP rods.....probably use some SRP pistons.
so far so good on my eagle stuff. i like it and it was priced really good. as for the 9".........i have a 4.33 gear in it right now. if i wanna go for a long cruise it takes me 20 minutes to slap a new centersection in with a 2.75 gear.......try that with a 12 bolt hehe.
plus it was cheap. got it for $100 complete with rotors and good caliper cores. i didn't have to narrow it, and with my ladder bars and coil overs i still came out $175 cheaper than a bolt in 9" and i have alot better suspention now for racing. with a bolt in 9" or 12 bolt i'd pay more, and i'd still have to upgrade parts like the torque arm, control arms, panhard rod, shocks and springs. the cost goes up exponentially.

Haha, yeah it was great. She was like "I cheated a little bit"
She used a single probe instead of one for both tailpipes, and there's a huge gaping hole up close to where the cat should be, and she said "yeah, I know you have a big ol' hole up there, that was loud as heck".
The only reason I even brought my car up there was to fail it so that I could get a new set of temp tags, so I didn't even bring the $19.50. My excuse was "...oh.... you don't accept credit, huh?" so I had to run to the ATM and get the money.
My cat converter is just sitting in my room..... Hooker cat-back is still on back order.

Just a FYI for you Ohio people, according to the Akron Leakin' Urinal E-check WILL NOT be renewed in '05. Seems that the Ohio government boys are even admitting that E-check has done zip to curb pollution. It turns out pollution in Ohio is from the industrial plants. DUH! Still glad I live in Wayne County though. (No E-check here.)

I have another year before I have to get mine E-checked. I am contimplating on removing all that ugly air line system going into the manifolds and that ugly air pump that is always in the way. I am thinking with a new converter it should pass without those items since I am still running the stock Q-jet.
Do you think removing those items will cause me to fail the sniffer?
