hooker headers?

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Hooker p/n 2055 comes with y-pipe to a single 3" slip-fit cat. They don't make a y-pipe for dual cats.
Hooker p/n 2460 does not come with a y-pipe, the one from the 2055's won't fit, and none is available for them. If you get those headers, you have to have a y-pipe custom fabricated.

well i have a 91 so i need the 2460's. how much do most places charge to make a custom y pipe?
edit: i just came back from thunder racing and the guy told me that the hooker 2460's would bolt right up to the existing y pipe. is this true?

You don't really need a y-pipe, but a pipe from each collector to each cat. I'd figure on $200 minimum.
