SLP loudmouth on thirdgens?
SLP loudmouth on thirdgens?
Has anyone done this? I've seen thirdgens w/ other 4th gen exhaust before. From what I've heard it sounds great and it's not too expensive. It would definately be different. I'm not sure how much modifying it would take. I know one of the advertisers for this site, don't remember which (thirdgen resource maybe?), used to sell stock stainless LS1 exhaust modified to fit thirdgens.

is slp loudmouth street legal?...my stepfather's got a 2002 firehawk that id love to hook up with that...dunno if itd go on a thirdgen
i dont think its legal since theres no muffler, theres just a resinator, and u need a muffler to be legal, but u could always point to it and be like "yea... that is my muffler" they cant tell it makes it louder
I believe they will fit, everything from the intermediate pipe back is about the same. I installed a 2001 SS exhaust on a '90 IROC and only had to bend the brackets a little. Came out nice. I believe SLP sells the loudmouth for $349.00.
