my friend is selling me those headers for my 91 z28 they are black and they have rust.
is that influence the performance????
should i take em?
n e one know a good y pipe that would fit?????

Doesn't sound too bad, I hear getting a custom y pipe made is pricey.
Some rust shouldn't be bad.

i bought them and sanded all the rust!!!

Yeah I bought mine with for 100 and they had rust on them. I sand blasted them off and used VHT flame proof 1500. ALl you have to do is sand them paint them then bake them in a oven. Mine have been fine and I dont see any rust yet.

You can't use the stock y pipe with headers.
