Attention 89IROCZ Question w/i--->
I saw in your sig that you have no muffler. My buddy had that when he got his Z. I am in the process of looking and might get a Z. I am curious on what that set up cost you; with no muffler. I might get something like that.... Thanks if you reply.

Hi...
I highly reccommend the no muffler setup. I must warn you that it is very loud, but it sounds great. If I bought an IROC new, I would most likely keep the stock exhaust and just take the muffler off, rather than pay so much money for a cat back. It flows good, sounds good, and produced more power.
Anyway, I have stock exhaust manifolds, going to dual cats, to a 3'' Monza Pacesetter Cat-back. The cat back system wasn't loud enough for me, so I took the muffler off, and had Meineke make me a U pipe that sits where the muffler is supposed to sit. That way, it still exits the rear of the car with dual tips.
This costed me $120 because I bought big, long chrome tips that were $25 each.
I have pictures, but not from underneath the ar, so they don't show all that much as far as how it is setup.
If I didn't answer your question, or if there is anything else you would like to know, you can post here, email me (jrshotliff@hotmail.com) and IM me (JRShotliff).
