I read the link to netthirdgen, but I am still leary about wiring up my heated O2 sensor. Is there certain precautions that I should take before wiring up the sensor (i.e disconnecting the battery). Any instructions from someone who wired theirs would be much appreciated. Thanks.

It wouldn't hurt to disconnect the battery if it makes you more comfortable. As long as the ignition is off there isn't a signal.
