IDing headers and Q's about hooker headers
IDing headers and Q's about hooker headers
Well, I found a set of headers in the back of the T-top Trans Am. I'm going to swap in a 350 and since they are free it can't hurt to try them. My best guess on the headers so far is that they are hooker headers. They have an O2 sensor bung that faces opposite direction of stock one. 1 5/8 primaries, 3" collectors. Look like they would fit the stock Y-pipe except for the flange problem (three bolt flange on headers, two bolt flange on Y-pipe). The flange is raised where the primaries mate with the exhaust ports. No visible spot welds for a tag on the primaries. Reciept found in car states "Connect headers to stock Y-pipe $80" I don't have the Y-pipe that was on the car, only one from another LG4. Does anyone know how/if hookers connect to stock LG4 Y-pipe? Thanks for any help
