Exhaust for thirdgen?

I am very interested in buying a cat-back for my 1992 Camaro RS. However, I've heard nothing but bad things about Flowmaster, due to it being too loud. I do not want a loud exhaust, something like their Force II or III instead of the American Thunder maybe. Also, does ne1 else have a quiet exhaust on their car made by a different company? How much did you spend? Did you get some good gains on it?
Thanks in advance
Dave

I've got the SLP third-gen firehawk exhaust, two tailpipes exiting on driver side. Also have Random Technologies converters. Sound is outstanding. Not too loud, not too soft, very deep. I get a lot of compliments on it. It was about $350 for the exhaust, and about $325 for the converters. SOTP difference. I think the exhaust cost has dropped to around $300, but I'm not sure.

You do NOT want loud???!!! (j/k)
Flowmaster has "Delta-flow" technology available in many of their mufflers, so they might also have it avail. for the 80-series, which is the only kind that fits our cars. I've heard the 80-series and the sound outside goes down a bit, the interior resonance is reduced a lot, and the muffler tone goes from really juicy and raw (how many can relate to that?! c'mon) to a lil "dryer". Other than the flows, I've noticed the Borlas are deeper more than loud. Personally, it's all FLOW when you want bang for the buck.

I have been very happy with my Hooker Aerochamber cat-back system. It has 4 3 inch chrome tips, 2 on each side, the sound is great and it cost me $260 from Jegs.
