I flanged my I-Pipe, but I've only gotten to use it once. I trailered the car so I just removed it before I put the car on the trailer. I love the way it sounds, but I dont know how much time, if any, I picked up yet. I know with the previous L98 I had in the car, I picked up 13 HP and 12 TQ on the dyno after opening it up.

Yes they're ok for the car. Legal depends on your state. In CA we are required to have mufflers, and tailpipes that exit after the rear axle. So I only open my cut out at the track.
