SLP headers.......

hey guys,
I just ordered the SLP headers a couple days ago from summit, there 1 5/8 primaries and there gonna be going on a 305. I was just wondering how much of a sound increase in loudness im gonna get from my little 305, and I already have the american thunder flowmaster catback. Im going to have a shop put them on as soon as they get here , and i was just wondering to look forward to.

THANX A LOT GUYS

Mine was not much louder at all. I have dual cats and I think that they muffle the sound quite a bit.

You'll love the new sound, course it's still has Flow mufflers.

It will be a little "throatier", but the difference your going to notice is the tone of the exhaust. It's going to be much deeper, even inside the car. You'll enjoy the sounds and benefits of having headers.

adding headers and getting rid of the cat made a much bigger difference in sound and power than the catback. You will be hapy trust me.

Put it this way, people will not beleive you when you tell them that you only have a 305.

I had the Flowmaster system on my 92 Rs before I added the SLP Headers and 3" cat and the headers/cat made a huge difference in the way it sounded.
It was a low rumbly tone before, but with the headers/cat it was loud and raspy(when my foot's in it)
