I just bought Ceramic Coated Flowtech Headers and Y-Pipe. I wanted to do the job right the first time, since its such a pain. What are the best gaskets I can use? I have heard, on the board, good stuff about Percy's Dead Soft gaskets and Mr. Gasket's Ultra Seal Gaskets. Thanks!

 

yeah any of the dead soft aluminum gaskets should work. i have used both the flowtech dead-soft aluminum header gaskets and collector gasket. they work real well. they are called Flowtech Real Seal gaskets. the nice thing about soft aluminum gaskets (and soft copper) is that they are reusable, so they are a worthwhile investment.

 

I used regular Fel-pro header gaskets with my Flowtechs. They sealed just fine.
