Exhaust tips

Which do you guys prefer, the ones that screw on, or the ones that have to be welded on? I was told the ones that have to be welded are better quality, last longer, and sound better. But they're also more expensive. Also what size do you go with on average? I have a 2.5 in w/a flowmaster 80 series on my car.

You can weld the screw on kind, ya know.... Mine are screw on, and it would be nice to be able to take them off, but they're welded now. Never know when one of those things will loosen up and fall off.

Id go with the screw one's so you could change them with ease if you ever wanted to. I think some 3.5 Inch tips would like pretty nice

Unfortunately I do not. I have the full 3" flowmaster american thunder catback. But the previous owner decided he did not want to put on the tips on I guess. But I seen 3.5's on some thirdgens and they look really nice.

Yea ive been to K&S a few times. It's a real nice store. They carry alot of things in stock.

So do you got a catback or just the muffler? A while back you drove by me in the opposite drection and I rolled down my window to hear your car, but I was to slow-lol

BTW, I forgot to mention that mine are clamp on. I just flipped the clamps so the bolts are facing up so they're not hanging down in plain sight.

You can't even tell they're there.

I never said you were going slow

But anyway, just make sure you like them before you pay to have them welded on. I just wouldnt get anything less then 3" tips. But thats just my opinion.

The ones I have can be welded on. Actually I think they're made to be welded on, but I'm not really into commitments with my car yet so I chose to clamp them on.

If you want them email this guy.... dirtsqurtr@aol.com

He owns an exhaust shop in Indiana and he's the one I got mine from. They cost me $60/pr. Make sure you tell him that I sent you and what I paid.
