Hangers

I started putting my Hooker Catback on today. I have a question about the two hangers in the back, this is a stupid question.

The kit is supposed to use the stock hangers, it worked well on the drivers side but doesn't on the passenger side. If the passenger side hanger was like the driver's side it would work fine.

The driver's side is a rubber strap that is riveted to the bracket that is bolted to the car with two bolts. The passenger side has a bracket with a big rubber block in it, the block has a slot in the middle of it. The old exhaust had a thing the slid into this block.

Can I buy the brackets with the rubber straps on them?

I don't think I want a universal type hanger. I'd rather have the kind that came on them, has anybody replaced their's from somewhere other than GM? GM's=about $15.

Has anyone bought any from any of these online shops? www.partsamerica.com www.wrenchhead.com www.carparts.com?

Edit: About these universal type hangers, which ones has anybody used? Which will work the best? How did you attach them? There are about 3 or 4 different kinds of universal hangers at my local Auto Store.

I've used the kind that's a metal strap with holes along the length, a short piece of rubber and a bracket with U-clamp at the end. I just ran a bolt through a hole already in the framerail and tacked the other end to the pipe. Looks fine, works fine.
