What kind of Headers on a ZZ Block?

I am going with the ZZ5 w/ the 1.6 rockers and LT4 Hot Cam, wondering what kind of headers u guys think I should run or if u have a ZZ4 or ZZ5 what are kind of headers are u running on it? I thought about 1-3/4" SLP Headers. Would they work and what is the part number if ya got it handy?

Yep, definitely the SLP 1 3/4", you'll need the extra airflow. Check out http://www.slponline.com/ for the part numbers.

Sweet, thanks, I figured on going with SLP, I just wanted to make sure someone out there with a ZZ block made sure they fit. Thanks.

the block has nothing to do with headers, the heads are L98 vette heads and those are what the headers bolt up to. I will second the 1 3/4 inchers.

Well I know the SLP's come with a y-pipe and I wanted to make sure that everything would fit around the pan and all. So in a way it does.

The fast burn heads have raised exhaust ports and the oil pan on the ZZ engines are deeper to clear the windage tray!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch for y-pipe clearance on the oil pan! I have a ZZ4 with Edelbrock headers and y-pipe and I had to bend the y-pipe with a big *** bar to get oil pan clearance. That's not to mention the ZZ5 with raised exhaust ports. I have no experience with the fast burn heads and headers but this is the exact reason I will not buy the fast burn heads. I am afraid of worse clearance problems. Let me know if they work for you!

Man, I wish I had the money on me right now for that. This sucks. What great timing.
