Modding up my exhaust even more.
Hey guys,
I have a 92 Camaro RS w/ 3.1 and flowmaster 80 series with dynomax tailpipes. I was wondering if I could get a new catalytic converter (possibly a high flow one) w/ a 2.5 inch outlet that would lead to a 2.5 I pipe that leads into my inlet of the flowmasteR? I was then thinkin of having him cut the dynomax pipes so that I can attach some chrome exhaust tips straight out the back. I have a part that will widen the flowmaster's inlet to its original width, do you think my mechanic will be able to put this setup on my car? Or can it only be done with V8's?

Dynomax sells a cat-back with 2.5" I pipe, but since you already have a muffler, I believe they sell just the I-pipe. I'm not sure of the part # though.
