Why do the 4th gen. catbacks not fit on our 3rd gen. cars? I was interested in buying Corsa exhaust but they only make it for 4th gens of course.

the rear is setup the same so youd think a catback could be made to fit. Im sure it could be but the cat hookup is probably completely different.

They do fit. Zepher put a 4th gen pacesetter catback on his 86 TA if I remember correctly. You'll probably have to have it modified a little to hook up to the cat but that's it.

if your going to put a 4th gen catback on it you have to go with the SLP loudmouth it is awesome.

Well I don't exactly have a cat. so maybe it can be welded up.
I've never heard SLP's before but if you wanna hear corsa's it it on their website. It sound's awesome but is quiet at idle or part throttle.
